Claro is a Filipino musician and composer based in Sydney, with a passion for R&B and pop music. He began playing piano at a young age and quickly discovered a natural talent and love for music. Piano and vocals remain his main instrument, but he is able to play others, including guitar, bass, ukulele, saxophone, harmonica, percussion, and drums, just to name a few. Off-stage, Claro is a shy and reserved individual, but when he steps on stage, he transforms into a dynamic and engaging performer who is eager to entertain and inspire his audience.

Claro's musical journey began early, as he sang his first notes at the tender age of 8 months old. This early vocal talent would later be honed and developed as he pursued his passion for music. Claro was born visually impaired, and although this may have presented challenges in his musical journey, he persevered, continuing to develop his skills as a musician over the years. However, at the age of 18, he lost the rest of his sight and is now only able to see light. Despite this, he has not let his disability stop him from pursuing his passion for music. One of Claro's unique skills he was born with is his perfect pitch, the ability to accurately identify and reproduce any musical note without reference. He was also born with a form of synesthesia known as "Chromesthesia", a condition in which he experiences visual sensations in response to hearing music, which has influenced his creative process and musical style.

Claro graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Contemporary Music and Performance from JMC Academy in Sydney in 2015, and since then, he has been working tirelessly to build a name for himself in music. He is constantly striving to improve his craft, drawing inspiration from some of the greats in the industry, such as Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars, and Brian McKnight.

Claro has performed in a variety of venues and settings, from local bars and clubs to cruise ships, and has also composed and arranged music for a number of different projects in the R&B and pop genres. In addition to his album "Fifteen", which he self-produced and released in 2019, Claro has also released a number of singles in both English and Filipino, showcasing his skills as a composer and performer. Some of those singles include “Get Me Easily”, “Stuck In This Moment”, “Napadaan Lang”, “Ligaw”, and “Sunset”, which he co-wrote with his partner, ROALI. Claro's original music can be found on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, while his covers can be found on YouTube. His music features a blend of R&B and pop, with soulful melodies, catchy hooks, and heartfelt lyrics. Although his album and singles have been well-received, Claro is constantly pushing himself to create even better music and reach a wider audience.

In addition to his work as a musician and composer, Claro also does live music streams on Twitch a few times a week, captivating audiences with his musical ability and stage personality. He currently has over 1500 followers on the platform, and his streams feature a mix of original compositions and covers of popular songs.

In addition to his performances, Claro is also a passionate advocate for accessibility in music and the arts. He believes that everyone, regardless of ability, should have the opportunity to express themselves through music and art.
